The 加州心理学实习协会 is an APA-accredited training program dedicated to offering psychology internships that support future professionals to acquire broad-based clinical skills and competencies that are evidenced-informed and evidenced-based, ethically-sound, and culturally-sensitive. Interns receive education and training via a year-long placement at one of our training partners: Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System (API); Aurora Behavioral Healthcare/San Diego; Department of State Hospitals-Coalinga (DHS-C), Porterville Developmental Center (PDC); San Quentin State Prison (SQSP); State Center Community College District, Fresno (SCCCD); University of California-Merced (UC-Merced); and the W. Gary Cannon心理服务中心(PSC). 还通过教学提供培训, consultation, and socialization experiences in which partners join to collectively support intern development.
Each CPIC training partner is committed to the following aims:
Aim 1: To provide broad and general training in health service psychology with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.
Aim 2: To prepare psychology interns to competently address the needs of diverse, underserved populations, 包括法医群体, transient populations, juveniles, young adults, 以及那些患有严重和持续性精神疾病的人.

Accreditation Status
CPIC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the 美国心理学会. Questions related to the program’s accredited status should be directed to the Commission.
